Jesus knows me
This I love.
For He came from
Heaven above.
He gave His life
Upon the cross.
To keep my soul
From being lost.
He forgave
My every sin.
I open my heart
To let Him in.
He holds me
In His warm embrace.
Some day in Heaven
I shall see His face.
Jesus knows and
Loves you too.
What He's done for me
He will do for you.

Gossip
You think you know
How I feel
But all you know
Is not real
You act so smug and seem so sure
The spreading gossip I'll endure
For your pride will overload
Those who hear will not be snowed.
The Beast Man
Well look who's up
and gone again !
My own true love -
he's my best friend? Ha!
I know- how sad-
it's such a joke.
I kept believing
the lies he spoke.
Forgive me for my whining cries
The pain is so deep from so many lies.

Darkness rolled in today.
Warm, humid darkness
Heavy, stifleling gloom
shadowed right across
the smile of the flowers.
Darkness faded the color
right off the bloom.
Perky stems shrivled to limp.
Green leaves to brown,barren.
eyes clouded
tears unflowing
thoughts erratic
feelings unknowing
pain unshowing

Call on God, but row away from the rocks. Indian Proverb
Confusion
The answers are here in the depths of my mind.
The questions are so hard for me to find.
The game is of matching one with the other.
My mind races on and most times says don't bother.
Now back to the beginning,
The answer is there.
But what was the question?
It's hidden somewhere.

At Last The Sun
Today the sun is shining brightly.
This always lifts moods some.
I am not taking this day lightly.
The air is fresh-spring has come.
Worry over the past is such a waste.
It only causes more pain.
The past was cold and dreary-now
I feel spring, if only a taste.
Tomorrow is unsure, this I know.
It's not mine to choose.
Today is here to enjoy the show-
This beauty given us to use.
Look at the precious gifts God gives.
Today is a special one.
Yesterday-whatever it may have been.
The light comes after dark-see how God lives!
