Merry Christmas
Sing a lullaby. Oh, sing! Let the little sheep bells ring. Gently now, you woolly sheep, Sing the Prince of peace to sleep. That little Prince, so humbly born, would someday die with cross and thorn, But, raised by God to life above, now rules the earth with peace and love. No earthly throne sets Him apart. Instead, He rules within each heart, and when we all our struggling cease, We feel His love. We know His peace. Sing, you heavens! Sing, you earth! Sing about the Christmas birth. Sin and death and war shall cease. He's come, the tiny Prince of Peace. Love, Meme

Best Gift
Let us remember that the good news of the baby Jesus is the greatest Christmas gift ever given, and it doesn’t cost a dime to share that with those on our gift-list this year.

Good News!
Good News! What a beautiful day! The sun is shining - and the dust is showing on my tv and tables and chairs. See why I like cloudy days? I love the Christmas season....It is so full of hope and promise....God's promise in the Blessed Birth of His Son Jesus. Just think of that night and that wondrous star in the sky. And angels singing, rejoicing, telling the Good News! We can sing, rejoice and tell the Good News today and everyday. It is such a wonderful story to share with people. Why do we find it so hard to do that with the people we meet everyday? There is nothing on earth better to tell someone than the Good News of Jesus - the Prince of Peace. The Love, Mercy and Saving Grace. Praise God in Glory for this Wonderful, Amazing Gift!!!

My Soul Sings
Praise God there is a song in my soul today! What a Mighty God we serve! That song says it. There have been so many days in my life that I could not sing or did not feel like singing or just thought I would never sing again. You know what? God had other plans for me. For He made me see that no matter what ~ my soul could sing. His Mighty Love and Grace and Mercy are really something to sing about! Well my voice may not be what it used to be but the song is sweeter than ever for I have been forgiven of so much. Choose today to sing from your soul! Praise and Worship!
Get the point? Have a great day in Jesus! Love, Meme

Blessings In Rain
(KJV) Psalm 72:6 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. How beautiful and exciting to stand on my porch in the night and experience the refreshing rain pouring down all around me on the night before last. And then yesterday to stand at the window and watch the amazing little balls of ice fall from the sky and bounce all around in the wind. Then before long there was that bright lovely sunshine glowing in the calmness after the storm. Oh just open your eyes to see how beautifully Our Heavenly Father uses the rain and storms in our lives to bless us. He sent us His Son Jesus to save us. We fall into His loving arms and safely hang on while the wind is blowing and the rain is falling all around. He holds us and wipes away our tears of fear and sadness. He carries us into the warmth of His sunshine after the storm. Sure there are a few things blown away and knocked over and tossed about. He helps us pick up the pieces and straighten it all up. He asks us to trust Him and love Him and realize that He has us right there safe and sound in His arms. Our God is So Big...So Mighty...I love that children's song. His is bigger than the rain, the hail, the wind, our fears, our problems, our imaginations. Just rest in His arms and feel His love and grace. He is The Almighty God - The Everlasting Father - The Prince of Peace. The sun comes out after the storm. The Son is with us thru the storm and after the storm. Just trust in His Love. Enjoy the wonderful blessings raining down on you today. Here's wishing you love and peace today ....... Meme

Joy
Psalm 95:1 I greet you this morning with the Joy of Our Lord for He loves us with such wonderful Grace and Mercy - I am so thankful today for the Holy Word of God. My heart is burdened this morning with an observation of the lack of Joy in so many children's faces. And then you realize that same look is on the parents faces. Is it a lack of Joy, when they have so much in this life? I fear that it may take a lot of distress to bring these people back to realizing just how much they have to be Joyful about. Because so much of the time we do not understand what we have to be thankful and Joyful about until we lose it. We are so blessed in this country with things and conveniences, but I think we lose so much in the race to acquire and accomplish. There is so much Joy to be had. Families need to experience Joy together. Do things together without the aid of computer or tv. Just to be quietly together outdoors and bask in the glory of our Heavenly Father's creation. The real secret to finding Joy as a family is to spend time together with God. Read the Bible and have Prayer together in the home. This will truly bring Joy into the household. I believe it with all my heart. God loves us and created this beautiful world and all of us for each other. If you gotta be busy - Let's get busy enJoying it all together. Hey there! Get a Big Smile on! Bask in the Glory of the Lord. EnJoy this day. It is the day the Lord has made. ReJoice and be glad and take time to be Joyful. Let it show in your eyes and your voice and don't forget to thank God and praise Him for everything! It's another beautiful morning......love and hugs from Meme.

This mornin' got a head start on me, but I'm catchin' up fast....
God is Great!!! He loves us so much He sent His Glory to shine all over and around and in us!!! My heart pours out thanks for His Love and Mercy and Grace. Love and Hugs from Meme

Day by Day
Good Morning! What a beautiful crisp morning - I am so happy to be able to say. Because it actually feels like autumn. Well, it is beautiful even tho' it is still dark. Yes, I woke up at 5AM-have no idea how long Agatha and Barkley had been roaming around. We spent some time out on the front porch checking out the sounds and actions of early morning. God is Sooooo Great !!!! My mind is on daily tasks. You know - washing, drying, watering, feeding....etc.etc.etc. Just think about it - clothes, dishes, floors, plants, pets, children, ourselves. You know daily maintaining. We can do it all joyfully or grumpully (m.o.w.mem's own word) but we still have to do them. Well to have a healthy life. Now think of this - with the clothes we can be grateful that we have them, so many of them. In my case I am so happy to have a washer and dryer so I don't have to go out to do laundry. With dishes - well this just shows that we are blessed to be eating well - we can be thankful for dirty dishes. Floors - we will come back to.. Plants give us oxygen, the least we can do is give them a drink and some precious sunlight. A kind word has been said to help. We accept the daily tasks for ourselves early on. Feels good to be clean and healthy. Right? Those playful little pets. Water, feed, wash, love and play. Oh yes and clean litter and pick up poop. We are rewarded with companionship and lots of love and they are always - always happy to see us come home. Ahh...the children - now talk about rewarding. Children have such a capacity for love. It just flows from them. The smiles and sweet voices and pleaading eyes and rejoicing. They just soak up every good thing that is sent their way. And they give it back with so much more than you give. So smile when you scrub those little feet and wipe those little noses and bottoms...and rejoice to be able to prepare their daily food and wash their little clothes and clean up the floors ( told you we would get to floors ) after them. Just think how much joy they add to your life and childhood is such a brief moment. Don't ever take this for granted. It is a privilege. A kind word is sure to help! Children reflect what they see and hear. Let us guard their little eyes and ears. Last but not least don't forget the elderly ones. They are eagerly looking for a kind voice and love and attention. They have wisdom we need and they have given so much in their lifetime. Kindness really matters. If you want to see Jesus - look into the eyes of the elderly, the children, your wife or husband, sisters, brothers, friends, neighbors, etc. As Mother Teresa said touch the sick and dying, the poor - you are touching Jesus. Jesus said if we do unto the least of these we have done unto Him. Day by day we all have tasks, some call chores. I think they are opportunities to reach out and touch Jesus daily. Day by day let's do each task with Love. Day by day let's do each task with Prayer. Day by day let's do each task with Thanks. Have a wonderful day full of tasks...... with Love, Prayer and Thankfulness Meme
